Cover produced to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Formation of 22 Squadron. Cover depicts the distinctive yellow of the ASR Wessex helicopter and the RNLB The Hampshire Rose. Cover bears full set of Safety at Sea stamps cancelled with BDPS 1890 for the Anniversary of 22 Squadron.
Cover has been carried on the RNLB the Hampshire Rose and then winched to Wessex HC2 of E Flight 22 Squadron furing air/ sea rescue exercise off Walmer, Kent for delievry to RAF Manston.

Cover has been signed by Flight Lieutenant Tredray Officer Commanding 22 Squadron E Flight RAF Manston and Mr C Williams Coxswain Walmer Lifeboat The Hampshire Rose.
