RAF cover and official 1995 Biggin Hill Battle of Britain Open Day cover. Cover artwork by Duncan Hill shows a Supermarine Spitfire of No 72 Squadron chasing a Messerschmidt Bf 109 over the Kent coast, with the White Cliffs below. The badges of the Royal Air Force and No 72 Squadron are shown on the artwork, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight crest also features on the cover printed in green ink.

The cover has been flown by Squadron Leader Paul Day AFC RAF in Spitfire Mk XIX PS915 of the BBMF, who was the Officer Commanding BBMF and Fighter Leader until he retired at the end of 2003 he was also awarded an OBE. The cover bears BFPS 2474 postmark for the 55th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain - Biggin Hill Air Show 17 September 1995 and shows Spitfire 'RN-S' of No 72 Squadron.
